Could be the reason that I had to increase the number of rooms blocked.

Then there are all the "locals" who are having Jeffersonian house guests for the weekend!
Amazing how many are staying with their "kids" who just happen to live here!

STAY AT THE

HOLIDAY INN CAPITOL PLAZA     We’ve blocked 50 rooms for Saturday Night and 20 for Friday Night.  I’d love to know if you are planning to stay one or two nights.  The blocked rooms will only cost you $104 per night—less expensive than AAA price.  They will allow me to increase the number thru June if they are not booked.   Make those reservations as soon as you know you are going to be with us.  This is election year and there are things going on in our Capitol.

Call the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza and ask for one of the Jefferson Block of Rooms

SPECIAL EVENTS AT OUR INDIAN SUMMER REUNION 2004

CLASS OF JUNE 1953
TO  CELEBRATE
GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY + 1
The Internet has been buzzing with messages about the June Class of 1953.  A few of our members wrote and asked if their class could be honored at the Indian Summer Reunion in Sacramento.   No one can remember ever having a reunion.  A small committee is gathering momentum and will be searching for their elusive classmates.
The 1953 Webpage has a list of all 1953 graduates both January and June –of course both groups are included.
A flyer will be sent soon with the list to all good addresses that we collect.  Hopefully everyone will pitch in and try to find a few old friends.

CLASS OF 1979
TO CELEBRATE
SILVER ANNIVERSARY
Annette Vierra Rucker wrote to say, “Ken “Kelly” DaMota recently got a hold of me and asked if the Class of ’79 had anything planned for their 25th Reunion.  I told him that I had not heard anything, but that I had seen your notice about a Jefferson Alumni Reunion to celebrate your
25th Anniversary that was going to be in Sacramento—we thought that sounded great.”
“Chatted” with several ‘79ers and they all agreed it would be fun to be in Old Sacramento with a “gang” of old friends for our 25th Reunion..
Reggie Camp
said that some of his contacts are ready and Jim Caruso, with the help of his cousin, Sally Rasmussen Leogrande, ’81, said he would host the Hospitality Suite at the Holiday Inn—just like the “olden” days at grandmas.   So, start locating those old friends!  If you can “swing” it, plan to spend the weekend!
