In 1979, when the football team won the
championship, the Jefferson Alumni Boosters was formed.
I've been at the helm ever since. Many of you I taught
at good old Woodrow Wilson. I spent a lot of time with
my camera and I thought I'd share a few of my favorite pictures of
you. I have a lot of them and hope to share them
as time goes by.

To share my pictures,
which you probably haven't see in a long, long time, it will take
great patience, because pictures big enough to see take a long
time to download. Those I want you to see in full are on
another page. Just click on the little picture. |
How
about some of you in 2nd Grade?

I don't know what's happened to all of you,
but those that graduated from Jefferson,
I've been able to keep tabs on.Louie Pezzola
is still living in Daly City and is with the DCPD.
I heard that Becky Schurr worked as a
professional clown.
Jackie Talavera and
MaryAnn Melendez were at the
reunion in October.
Ursula Rance lives in Texas and can't
be here for the reunion.
I just recently heard from several of the McCrums, but
Leanne moved out of the area before high school.
Gilbert Lucero is still living in
Daly City. I dropped a Totem Pole into his mail box very
early one Saturday.
Now, George Reyes, Bernie DeCambra and
Arturo Aquilar might be there. They
graduated in 1980, and they're invited, too.

Then there was
4th grade.

Look, a few others have joined us at WW.
Jefferson Hall of Famer,
Rick Huertas,
lives in So. City.
Sally Rasmussen,
of Citrus Heights, CA, went on to be your class secretary
and is spearheading the reunion.
Eric
King--your class president surprised
everyone at the reunion.
Patty Cardoza
changed her mind and missed a great party.
I just sent the forms to
Monica Alvarado, I'll let you know what she
has to say. I think she's in touch with
Renee Savory.
Vince Reyes,
at least the last I heard, is living in Hawaii, but he must have
been here for a visit because a few people saw him around town.
Did you know that Mrs. Pat
Craviotto and I went to Jeff together?
Remember our "TEAM"
classes? |
|
 |
 |
|
I hope you had as much
fun as I did and remember it as well as I do. |
|
|

Seems to me I was always dressing you up in some kind of crazy
costume.
Remember how hot it was at he Renaissance Fair?
|

Or I was feeding you. Louie, cut that out!
Maryann Melendez, Louie Pezzola, Eloy Lucero and
Sally Rasmussen.
|
|

Maryann in Philadelphia waiting for George to ask her to make
him a flag. |

Remember our time warp to 1776? |
|
|

Gilbert Lucero portrays a Bostonian in 1776. Louie is
visiting from the wild, wild west.
|

No "clowning" around. Becky Schurr is running
through Golden Gate Park. |
|
|
As you can see, my collection has many
strange looks. Just a few more of my favorites from
your Jefferson Days to share.
The reunion pictures are found in the ARCHIVE SECTION. |

WE'RE FROM JEFFERSON
COULDN'T BE PROUDER.
IF YOU CAN'T HEAR US,
WE'LL YELL A LITTLE LOUDER!
RAH! RAH!
RAH! |
|
Victor Chiles,
1980, (#56) is the only "kid" ever to get bitten by a shark at
Woodrow Wilson--and I mean "at".
He was one of "mine" and I just saw his name out at classmates.
I can't wait to tell him he can see this picture here.
Looking, cool RICK!
Nice legs, VIC!
This was taken after they took the 1979
Championship.

|
|
|

Jackie Talavera on San Francisco Bay.
Remember our trip to Sausalito? |

And here she is again working on decorations
for homecoming at Jeff with my mom.
|
|
|
|

YOU REMEMBER HOMECOMING FLOATS, RIGHT!
Do you remember whose dad's truck you used?
|
|
|
|

Of course, you do!
Amy, Sally and Danice! |

Ricky Cairo came to help, too. |
|
I know these were taken in
February because it's Sally's birthday. What makes it
even more fun is that Danice's was the day before Sally and
Ricky's the day after.
Oh, the things we remember.
