Hi, Jeffersonians!
If you are reading this,
I've solved my YAHOO problem, replaced the "cookie" and they know who I
am. They've let me back into the jeffalumni.com files. If
you don't know what this means, then you didn't read the latest issue of
the Alumni Totem Pole which should be in your hands by now ~ if you are
a member.
The Jefferson Alumni website was started by a novice
and continues to be worked on by a novice. I want to share
everything I have gathered about our alma mater with you. My
garage is loaded with "stuff". It just takes time. Be
patient and keep coming back.
I want to thank everyone who has helped edit this site.
There are so many pages that it is almost impossible for me to know
where an error might occur. If you can help in any way, please
feel free to do so.
However:
To those who want this website up-dated more often,
good luck. I can only do what I can do.
If you haven't sent me a little news for the Totem Pole
~ to give me some help ~ shame on you.
AND if you aren't a member, you have no right to
complain. You are getting all of this for free. Shame on
you, too.
Well, now that I have that off my "mind"...

About our Website:
Genealogy is so big on the Internet.
I am amazed at how many notes I have received concerning family members
who graduated from Jefferson. In fact our Jefferson website has
been linked to the San Francisco--San Mateo County Gen website.
It is my goal to have a page for every graduating class with at least a
list of those who graduated. Perhaps a cousin or "old flame" will want
to find you. "Google" your name and see if they can. Remember! I do not give out addresses or
phone numbers. I contact our members who can decide whether or not
to respond.
I am always looking for graduation programs with the official grad list
and would appreciate a copy of yours if I don't have one. Drop me
a note if you've saved that treasure! |

Membership:
This website is an extension of our Alumni Totem
Pole and a place for our members to drop in for a little Jefferson
nostalgia and to find out what is going on between issues of our
newsletter.
Membership is only $12 per year--$1 per month, but we've been able to do
wonderful things for our old alma mater with those dollars.

Yearbooks for sale:
When enrollments go crazy, space becomes
precious. I was "playing" at Jeff when the decision to get rid of
boxes of old yearbooks was made--reluctantly. I asked if I could
have them and perhaps find buyers for them. It sounded like a
great fund raiser to me. These are available for $30 per year
which includes mailing. The 2005 yearbook is selling for $70, so
this is too good a bargain.

At least it wasn't something I did! Deleting it causes all kinds
of weird stuff--something for me to figure out. Just ignore it!
I've just learned that there is a new way. Give me a month or so
to figure it all out.
